“Good point.” Sprig said as he and Anne began the long walk back to their home. Anyway, we better head back home before Hop Pop plays rough with us.” Anne said. Haven’t you seen the way Polly plays rough with her toys!?” Sprig said. “Yeah, but what if she’d treat me like a doll. “Heh heh, what are you nervous about? I would think you wouldn’t mind Ivy towering over you.” Anne said. *gulp* Thank goodness Ivy is just the right size.” Sprig said. You’ve got that date coming up with her.” Anne said with a smile. “Awwww… don’t be silly, Anne! I’d be your friend whether you were 1 inch tall or 100 feet tall! Now, Ivy on the other hand…” Sprig said. Like… maybe the size of those locusts.” Anne said. “You’d probably feel much different if I were much taller. They were pretty big, weren’t they?” Sprig said. It really came in handy against those bugs. I gotta admit, we’d be bug bait if it wasn’t for your taller height. After wiping his forehead and catching his breath one more time, he then looked up at his taller human friend, Anne. “Woohoo! Fly away, you pesky locusts! Go munch on something your own size! Like… like a house… or something!” Sprig said. But there was only one thing Sprig was thinking as he jumped up and down and celebrated like he won a prize or something. Did they get tired? Did they feel like a much better food source was nearby? Was there something about a town full of frogs that spooked them? All these thoughts ran through Anne’s head as she watched the locusts retreat. Finally, as they approached the outer fringes of the town, the locusts suddenly flew upward and away into the sky.
